Facebook, yesterday, unleashed a secret weapon! That is to say, it introduced
a new advertising method, known as the 15 seconds Facebook Video Ad.
Some key characteristics:
It will run for only 15 seconds!
It will bother your news feed for only a maximum of three times a day!
It will have a daily (happy or not happy) audience equivalent to the super
bowl, according to some ‘FB Analysts!’
In fact, one would challenge the viability and longevity of such ad
methods, especially on a platform where people are already double annoyed and
despise ads more than ever.
Has FB committed a major error by introducing a product that competes
with the “super bowl?”
Regardless, one thing
seems sure, FB will have to overcome very challenging obstacles in order to continuously
update and renew its digital advertising revenue streams.
